Well now about 5 hrs later My face is feeling a little numb and tingly and my tastebuds seem to not work as well. my shoulder and arm hurt bad. Are these side effects I should be worried about? And why do they ask you what hand you write with just to put it on that side? Doesn’t make sense when it causes your arm to hurt so much!

It sounds like a panic reaction to me. You could possibly have an anaphylactic reaction to eggs or whatever the vaccine was grown in, but that is very rare. You could look up the symptoms online. That vaccine is given to virtually every person on Earth at some point. Its about as safe as they get. I bet you tensed up your arm either before or during getting the needle stuck in and that made it hurt more. You won’t get three deadly diseases now!

no – you shouldn’t be worried.
facial numbness is not a side effect of these vaccines.
the only side effect you should anticipate is a sore shoulder – that’s why the nurse should have asked you which arm you write with, and given you the shots in the OPPOSITE arm!

You are not the only one who has experienced hypoesthesia (slight numbness) and paresthesia (tingly feeling) after the Tdap and flu vaccines.

A decrease in ability to taste is called hypogeusia. I did not see this listed in the vaccine product inserts, but you or your doctor should report it, along with all your other symptoms, to VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System).
I don’t want to scare you, but if you develop brachial neuritis within 28 days, your doctor is required by law to report it to VAERS. “A deep, steady, often severe
aching pain in the shoulder and upper arm usually heralds onset of the condition. The pain is followed in days or weeks by weakness and atrophy in
