is it ok to kiss my wife if we both have the flu/cold. or do difering viral variations ensure longer sick time

im mostly concerned if it will make us less likely to get over our sicknesses (we are both sick) being that we potetially carry different variances of the influenza virus. HEEEEEEEEEEELp.
