pbjtime asked:

At a recent 2 month checkup my son had pediarix, HiB, RotaTeq, and prevnar. I know all of the crap for and against vaccines, please, after I ask my question, I really don’t want links to the CDC or THINK TWICE web sites. Seen em all.
What I want to know is, is it too late for my son, is he still going to be alright? I haven’t noticed any changes in him yet, but I am scared.
Are there any people out there who have had their children fully vaccinated and their children are fine?
Unfortunately, people only write about the negative effects of things on the internet ie: bad things can happen if you don’t vaccine, bad things can happen if you do…I still plan on doing some vaccines, but not so many at a time, and I am ditching the rotateq, flu, and am waiting on the MMR until he is at least 2-4. Also, does anyone know which vaccines they were giving to babies in the 80′s? Thank you all. I am tryinng not to be worried, every time my son cries now, I think it is because of the vaccine
yeah, rotateq is for rotavirus

    Cure Your Psoriasis Now!

First, I can tell you I rotated in Peds for 12 weeks (Medical Student) and few children had any kind of reaction to the Vaccines, they are way safer now then before. Yes some times these children experienced site irritation and slight fevers but let me explain, the body has now been introduced to something we want the child to build immunity to so the child’s body will react to it to do this, they really are not ill in the true sense.

You should consult you Pediatrician also ( if you do not have one please consider one)

Really Delaying the immunizations is putting the child at risk.

    My opinion:
People who will tell you not to immunize is making the child and our world less safe and putting all of us at risk.

I think your baby will be fine. My daughter was born weighing 17 ozs. (1 lb, 1 oz) and she was definitely high risk. All of her immuniztions are up to date and she even used to get RSV shots once a month during the flu season. My daughter is absolutely fine!!! I think that you are worrying yourself too much. Don’t let the negative cases get to you. Think positive. I have even questioned whether or not vaccines could harm my baby (i.e. autism) but I realized there is no clear and definitive clinical trial that has linked MMR vaccinations to autism. Basically, do not deprive ur child of his immunizations because u r a little paranoid. Discuss your fears with your son’s doctors and see if he could provide you with advise on literature or other sources to give you more info. Also, ask your child’s pediatrician what effects he have seen, if any, from vaccinations. Hope this helps and good luck!

    Say Goodbye to Psoriasis

Both my kids were fully vaccinated and they are fine.
I am a respiratory therapist and in the 80s, when I started in the hopsital, we had no HiB vaccine and I saw many kids who had Hib meningitis and it was awful. I’ve also seen kids with whooping cough (pertussis) and they are so sick…. coughing for weeks at a time.
I’m not sure about the rotateq, is it for rotavirus?
