it is just like the common cold. no one can have the same cold again. it probably is possible to get it again, plus the vaccine makes you sick, i heard for a few days.

Yes, you can get it again. They say the flu shot is best for the elderly and people with comprimised immune systens, but it couldn’t hurt.

Um. I’m pretty sure you can still get the flu even with the vaccine, the vaccine just makes you less vulnerable to get it. I’m not sure, though.

There are several strains of Influenza. Yes, you can get it again. Vaccination of Influenza is usually for Type A, which is the most common strain. Take the vaccination; only I would recommend the injection instead of the nasal spray. The nasal spray contains the live virus, and you are very likely to get flu-like symptoms from it. The injection doesn’t contain the live form of the virus, and most people only have minimal side effects from it (like soreness at the injection site, low-grade fever, muscle tenderness). I received mine today.

Yes you can. Before getting the flu shot every year now for the last 6 years, I always got the flu twice every season. Go get the shot.

There are many different strains of the flu which is why the flu vaccine isn’t available until the start of flu season. The vaccine is developed each year according to the strain of the flu virus thought to be most prevalent in that season. You could probably get more than one strain of the flu virus in any given year.

yes u can get it again
there are many strands of the flu
that’s why no one can cure “the common cold”
    get vaccinated anyway.
    why?
what the scientists do is they predict which strand is most dangerous and most likely to occur at that point in time. then they develop a vaccine against THAT virus strain.
so you won’t get that strain
of course, you can always get another strain, so then the flu shot didn’t protect you, but most of the time, when u do get sick, it’s for less time and it’s not so intense

do not take the flu vaccine if you’re prego or ttc or if you are allergic to eggs.

most people that need vaccines are healthcare workers (like me), and the elderly.
