I’ve been sick recently, and I have reading up on the symptoms of Swine flu. I do have some of the symptoms and I wasn’t worried until I read that a women in San Diego County came down with it. I live near that area and I began to search how u can catch the swine flu.
I was unsuccessful in my search. I already knew that it was safe eating pork, but i still need to know how it is passed on, such as person to person , threw bodily fluids , threw the air.
How is it past form person to person?

Sounds like it’s pretty unlikely to get it unless you directly contact the person that has it. But it’s probably worth going to the dr and let him figure it out.

yeahhhhh unfortunatly it’s hard to determine the early stags of the swine flu from other flu’s or illness… because they all have “flu-like symptoms”.
The swine flu (and any flu) is highly contageous and is mostly spread through aersolized droplets expired from some one who is already infected. These droplets can contaminate objects and then if you touch the object and then touch your mouth or nose you will innoculate yourself.

Say Goodbye to Psoriasis
Same as any other flu, coughing, sneezing, putting germs near your mouth or nose or eyes after touching a public doorknob, etc.. Do not worry. You won’t die from it. You wont’ even be as sick as with the regular flu. You almost surely don’t have it anyway. If you do, good for you. Done and over with.

The new Swine Flu is passed the same as any other human flu. It is spread by coughing and sneezing (it becomes airborne) and the virus can get on anything the sick person handled.
You already have the flu, and obviously are not dying from it, so just try not to pass it on, no matter what kind of flu it is.

Influenza viruses can be directly transmitted from pigs to people and from people to pigs. Human infection with flu viruses from pigs are most likely to occur when people are in close proximity to infected pigs, such as in pig barns and livestock exhibits housing pigs at fairs. Human-to-human transmission of swine flu can also occur. This is thought to occur in the same way as seasonal flu occurs in people, which is mainly person-to-person transmission through coughing or sneezing of people infected with the influenza virus. People may become infected by touching something with flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.

In September 1988, a previously healthy 32-year-old pregnant woman was hospitalized for pneumonia and died 8 days later. A swine H1N1 flu virus was detected. Four days before getting sick, the patient visited a county fair swine exhibition where there was widespread influenza-like illness among the swine.
In follow-up studies, 76% of swine exhibitors tested had antibody evidence of swine flu infection but no serious illnesses were detected among this group. Additional studies suggest that one to three health care personnel who had contact with the patient developed mild influenza-like illnesses with antibody evidence of swine flu infection
