my theory is…
a terrorist broke into a labratory and stole advance strains which scientist create in the processes they go through to try and find cures.
combining strains and other strains can make cures for illnesses/other viruses, making vaccines.
but in my opinion… i think terrorists or evil people knick and distribute these strains of viruses in different locations of highly populated areas.
i bet it’s gone on for years… we just don’t hear about it.
just lock ur doors and order your food from tesco online. no chnce of contracting it then.

It doesn’t. It isn’t from terrorists but from greedy hog farmers looking for a fast buck. They raise birds and ducks near the huge hog farms, the birds naturally get viruses and it stays with the birds etc. unless they are in close contact with pigs. Pigs pick up illnesses easily, some fight it, others alter the DNA. Since pigs are closely related in DNA to humans, it can easily pass from those that handle the slaughtering or handling the raw meat. Even the waste from these hog farms has for years caused problems with families with own wells miles from the farms. Lakes and rivers have been contaminated. We have had warnings for years and no one has listened.

I’m very skeptical about this having naturally occurred. The one thing that keeps me going back to a man-made theory is that this strain of the flu is reported to have not only human and avian flu mixed in, but also two different types of swine flu – one from North America and one from Europe. If I could explain that away with natural occurrence, I’m sure I’d feel a lot better.

Its pretty easy to explain, like the above poster commented. In Foreign countries or even in the united states and Canada, farmers seem to totally forget about the risks of infecting his live stock. There are regulations in the united states to raise pigs, there needs to be a bird proof pen basically. Down in Mexico (Where it originated from) I’m almost positive they don’t go through any type of safety regulations.
And livestock gets imported and exported by the hundreds of thousands each day, whose to say a Mexican farmer didn’t buy livestock from Europe which had been infected with the swine flu, and then brought it over here.
All I’m saying is it is HIGHLY unlike it was “Engineered” but it was basically man-made, because you could blame the farmers lack of safety concerns.
The way people are acting is like someone made this virus to kill off the population, I’m surprised biblical or even conspiracy theorist won’t start using this as a subject seeing as how they look for false information in anything to exploit.
If a disease was going to be engineered I’d have to think of a much more deadly one not one that has the subtle symptoms of the normal human flu. And the infected has to be extremely mal-nourished to die.

It is possible that Swine Flu was a virus created by man and that it either escaped the facility that created it, or was deliberately released by some country to experiment with biological weapons.
The US said that they had proof that SARS was linked to China and their biological release on the public in Taiwan as punishment for Taiwan breaking away from China.
The chance that its Swine Flue is man-made is 95% because:
1. It appeared suddenly this month.
2. It is a genetic mix of swine-bird-human
3. It is spreading on a non-flu time of the year
4. It is spreading rapidly, more so than regular flu
