Imagine you lived long before scientists had figured out that some micro organisms caused disease. Propose and idea that might have been used to explain why healthy people suddenly got sick and died?
Influenza or flu vaccines are available each fall. Identify the group of people for whom that vaccine is recommended and explain why. Do you think the flu vaccine should be mandatory for some groups of people, for example, hospital workers. Explain.

The biggest advantage of being a multicellular organism is the “division of labor”. Division of labor allows multicellular organisms to acquire traits that allow them to live in a wide variety of environments. Also division of labor allows for specialization. For example we humans have a heart the pumps blood through our body, and this blood nurishes our brain which regulates other organs.
The wrath of God or dieties.
The vaccine is recommended for the high risk population which includes the elderly, young children, those suffering from immune disorders such as HIV/AIDS, and those people who live in close packed environments such as dorms. I don’t think that this should be mandatory. The flu vaccine doesn’t guarantee protection from the flu since the strain that is going to spread might not be the one they have the vaccine for. Also people are free and should not be forced to anything against there will. Employers however can have their employees VOLANTARILY immunized.
Bacteria affect people directly by making them ill, and indirectly by affecting the environment people live in (e.g. the hypoxic dead zone in the gulf of mexico).
