Shard asked:
Aside from typical STD’s can other diseases such as influenza, the common cold be transmited through sex?
Thanks tweetiebird, Aside from kissing and proxmity can these kind of diseases be transmitted through the the fluids involved in sexual intercourse?
Ok, obviously this needs to be said. This not a personal question but a scientific one.

HIV can not be passed like a cold or flu. Can a cold or flu be passed through the bodily fluids involved in sexual intercourse such as semen or vaginal fluid?

Id imagine so because there is probably going to be kissing involved therefore saliva exchanged, and you and your partner will be breathing fairly close to each other thus sharing the germs !! I suggest perhaps the doggy position

Is that what you’re worried about? I’d be worried I’d catch a disease…or even a kid! hehe! Yes, you can catch a cold because you’re getting close enough to the person with the cold and germs are flying out their mouth and nose.

If you touch your face or the person who is sick touches you yes mostlikely. Not simply because your having sex but the closeness to a person who is infected and simply breathing their air will pass you the germ’s. If they touched their face or mouth and touch you they will pass you their germ’s. Influenza live’s in the air and is passed as you breath and touch. Even if you touch a door handle that someone had touched while they were sick, and you put your hand on your face or mouth you can get the flu from that. That is why it is so important to wash your hand’s alway’s. Don’t know if this answer’s your question but hope it help’s.

Say Goodbye to Psoriasis
you can catch common cold without even having sex, being even in close proximity can transfer the rhino virus(virus causing common cold) so having a sex is even more likelier to transfer the virus, Being in a room where someone with cold who sneezed can lead to transmission of common cold, I guess that’s why it is called common cold as its so commonly caught

The cold virus is a respiratory virus. You don’t catch a cold from sex. You catch it from kissing, from inhaling virus-laden droplets that have been coughed or sneezed out and from having physical close contact with an infected person.

I dont know probably through kissing I would think but if you exchange bodily function, I would say yes. Good idea to ask a doctor though.
