Kay M asked:

My friend’s trainer told my friend to buy an all in one horse vaccination. Apparently she did this but I don’t know where from and she can’t remember the name. I have always used a vet to administer the following:
-West Nile

and it costs $75 even with me hauling him in.
So.. if there was such an all in one vaccine I could purchase online and have my trainer administer it, I would much rather do that then breaking my bank. If you know where to buy this online PLEAAAASE send me the link. Also not just the generic website where it might be found, I really need a link to the exact item I need to purchase.

I get most of my equine vaccines, with the exception of the West nile vaccine, from Jeffers.

It’s usually referred to as a 5 way, and Jeffers has it as mentioned above, but so does Valley Vet and most others.

theres a 5 in one. rabies is always separate. alot of horses do not tolerate the 5 in one. older horses do not do well at all with it. you cannot administer rabies yourself.

Here is what you are looking for without the Rabies.
    Fluvac Innovator 6 (EWT/Flu/Rhino)

I order from a few different places
    Here are a couple:

    United Vet Equine is one

I use Fluvac EWT with West Nile and it costs about $24.

Rabies has to be purchased separate though and depends on your state if you can order it or not. Some states insist that only a vet can give it, even though it’s not law that they have it. Some people don’t realize that some states allow people to administer their own rabies to their animals (like Virginia does) so those that state it’s illegal, are wrong. It depends solely on the stat you live in.
